WINN-NTF 2010 Call for Abstracts

This year’s conference theme of Partnerships, Transitions and Opportunities: Elevating Nursing Practice spotlights three themes regarding new nurses and the professionals they interact with in their practice setting.  The Conference Framework outlines the strategies encompassed in these themes.

Interested individuals are invited to submit a 250 word abstract about clinical, educational, administrative, or research topics/projects to be considered for presentation in one of the following formats:

1. Oral: a 30 minute oral presentation by the author(s) plus 15 minutes for questions

2. Poster: a visual display (author(s) or a delegate must be present).  Posters will be displayed for the entire conference and designated poster session times will be included within the program.  Presenting authors will be required to stand by their poster during the assigned presentation time.  One presenting author will also be asked to deliver a 30 second oral “pitch” to market their poster to conference attendees during the conference program.

NOTE:  Presenting authors whose abstracts have been accepted are expected to register for and attend the conference and are required to pay regular registration fees and travel expenses.  By submitting your abstract, you are granting the WINN-NTF Planning Committee permission to list your name and abstract in our program materials.
